So, I didn't actually write anything yesterday... Yeah, I suck and all that. I did however post the following to the Underworld forums:

"My problem with the VMAs is that they don't really reward the best VIDEOS at ALL. If we're really giving props to the best VIDEOS, then the awards should go to the DIRECTORS, CONCEPT CREATORS, CINEMATOGRAPHERS, COSTUMERS, MAKE UP ARTISTS, etc. just like at the Academy Awards. I mean, let's reward the most artistic videos rather than the most popular artists. Sure, you could have a couple of "Best Performance by a Musician/Band in a Video" categories, but giving a Video Music Award to 50 Cent just because his album was really popular doesn't mean that he made a quality VIDEO. Sitting around in a car surrounded by bikini-clad women shouldn't win you a VMA. Standing in a room naked, painted ghostly white, while red ribbon pours out of your nipples and wraps you in a cocoon SHOULD win you an award (ah, Bjork...).
