I'm afraid to turn on the TV (wow, I've NEVER said that before). I didn't pay DishNetwork the remaining, outstanding balance on our account yesterday. I feel bad because I promised the nice supervisor lady that I would before she so kindly turned our service back on ("I'm the only person that will do this for you but you will have to pay the remainder on Friday.") In my defense, I DID warn her that I wouldn't get my unemployment check until Friday (yesterday), and thus, the money probably wouldn't be available until Monday, but, she wouldn't listen. Because my check didn't come yesterday (please come today, please come today, please come today), I couldn't call and pay them because it would've drained us dry. I'm just hoping that we have satellite service tonight so that I can watch "Battle of the Network Stars"! Yeah, it will probably be a DISASTER of EPIC proportions, but I just have such fond memories of watching it (and "Circus of the Stars") in my youth.
